The Simon Spurr Shop was commissioned by Architizer and Building Fashioni as a part of “Building Fashion at HL23: A series of collaborations celebrating art and architecture” with Simon Spurr — the 2009 CFDA/Vogue and 2010 CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear nominee. The shop concentrates on the idea of a folded ribbon, developing as an exterior skin and folding inwards to create the the modern inteiror. Using the latest BIM technologies, the fabrication was automated and produced on a very tight timetable.
I am always excited about innovative ideas that have potential to scale and make a big impact. Some of my favorite hobbies are to design, create, and build.
